Relationships, Sex and Health Information/Education for Parents/Carers of Autistic and Neurodivergent Girls (and those assigned female at birth) aged 10-18
Are you wondering where to start with relationships, sex and health education (RSHE) and your autistic daughter?Alice Hoyle (National RSHE Expert and ND mum of ND girls) will be hosting a 1.5 hour interactive online session to Appeer parents/carers on the tips and tricks to having these conversations at home and how to enhance the RSHE they receive from school (if they attend school).
The session will include :
Information on ethical relationships
How to create a safe environment for managing these conversations
Autistic and neurodivergent girl specific needs relating to RSE
Useful resources and strategies for covering information on relationships, sex, consent, and digital relationships.

The talk is for parents and carers of young people assigned female at birth) aged 10-18
Date and Time: 7-830 pm, 16th September 2024
What do I need for the session?
To attend this session you will need notepad and pen, a secondary internet enabled device with a touch screen such as a phone or tablet to enable to you to interact with the presentation (you can switch between screens but some people find it easier to have two).
What is the cost?£5.00 per ticket
This session will be on ZoomBUT WILL NOT BE RECORDEDso it remains a safe space for attendees. Please do not sign up unless you can attend on the evening. This will be an online presentation followed by for Q&A.
Please try to arrive promptly as if you are more than 15 minutes late, you may not be admitted to the session as you will have missed the group agreement and safe online space part of the workshop!
